There is also this passage at the end of the ordinance issued by the electoral guarantee board that pronounced the dismissal of the president of the Region Alessandra Todde.

In short: in the filing of the briefs and documentation in defense of the accuracy of his reporting of electoral expenses, Todde first (June) claimed to have spent a total of 90,629 euros and to have received contributions for 90,670. Then in December - with a new declaration that he wanted to replace the previous one, after the disputes about the lack of a current account and the absence of an agent - he changed his version , saying "on his honor that he did not incur any expenses or receive contributions or services". That is, the opposite.

Why? Because if the second version were true, there would have been no need to open a dedicated account and appoint a proxy, as required by law. The point, according to the members of the Panel, is that the irreconcilable reconstructions were exposed in official documents filed. And they outline the hypothesis of forgery: for this reason the documents ended up in the Prosecutor's Office.

The Todde case has risen to national prominence. She has given many interviews. And to those who asked her if she was worried about the situation in general, she replied that she was calm. And on the possible intervention of the Prosecutor's Office: "I will be happy to meet with the Prosecutor, explaining everything."
