In Nuoro, “Abba 'e luna festival - Nugoro est Kind of Jazz”, directed by Gavino Murgia, starts tonight. The triple event program of this third edition is packed. It starts tonight with the concert venue moved from the auditorium of the Satta Library (due to a broken water pipe) to the one named after Giovanni Lillu, at the Costume Museum in Via Mereu. At 7:00 pm, Fabio Furìa on bandoneon and Alessandro Deiana on guitar will perform. Followed at 9:00 pm by Betwen Sounds and Ritual duo with Majid Bekkas Guimbri / oud and Gavino Murgia on saxophone. The second evening is scheduled for next December 13th and will feature, at the Satta in Piazza Asproni at 7:00 pm, Alberto Balia on guitar and then Maestro Lugi Lai on Launeddas. On the same evening at 9 pm at the Costume Museum, the guitarist Marcello Peghin and the trio formed by Gavino Murgia, Jarrod Cagwin on percussion and Luciano Biondini on accordion. The festival will close on December 21st at 7 pm at the church of Grazie, on the theme “A Love Supreme” with Fabio Giachino on the organ, Sos Cantores de Garteddi from Galtellì, Franco Melis on the launeddas and the tenor Gòine from Nuoro.
