The temples of hospitality is a territorial animation project that has as its objective, with the involvement of territorial social actors, the promotion and animation of the cultural assets of the Alto Oristanese, with particular attention to the assets located in the villages or small centers.

These (community) assets are not only a place of religious worship but also a meeting place for local communities. Today, they present themselves, like our history and our naturalistic, archaeological, architectural heritage and our traditions, as places of memory, performing, at a social and local level, an increasingly sought-after identity function and increasingly in need of attention, care and protection.

In our increasingly global and virtual society, identity ties take on an ever greater value on a par with that attributed to local belonging. Because of this recognized value, we want to start a complex and difficult process that leads, starting from the protection of the existing identity heritage and cultural legacies, to their valorization.

In order for this complex process to be credible, complete and shared, it must necessarily lead to the recovery and valorisation of food, ethnic, ritual and folkloristic traditions which find their expression in the valorisation of local products and in the promotion of market niches linked to ancient processes or natural endemisms.

In light of the above, what we intend to do with this event is to create an opportunity to stimulate, through moments of play - culture - music - sport, a greater reflection on the potential that our identity - community assets are bearers of.

As part of the event “Templi dell'accoglienza” that will take place in Soddì – Zuri on October 27, there will be several activities that will have an experiential and laboratory nature and in particular: non-competitive walk and run around Lake Omodeo, gastronomic workshops (bread, desserts and pasta) presentation of the book “Deus ti Salve Maria” by the author Prof. Marco Lutzu accompanied by the musical interventions of Carla Denule... and the Armonias course of Abbasanta; tasting of typical local products, performance of the Tenore di Neoneli and the Orchestra Popolare Sarda, Bujmannu, Sista Nameli and Isla Sound, to finish with the tasting of “sa painzedda, pane guttiau e zippulas” in the company of the accordion of Matteo Scanu.
