Winner of the 2023 edition of the "Giangrandi-Eggman" Award, pianist Daniele Martinelli arrives in Sassari for the "I Wednesdays of the Conservatory" exhibition . Tomorrow at 7pm the young piano talent, born in 2004, will perform at 7pm in the Sassu room of the "Canepa".
The evening's program includes the performance of the Sonata n° 9 in D major K311 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Rondò à la mazur op. 5 by Fryderyk Chopin and the Kreisleriana op. 16 by Robert Schumann .
Martinelli from Bergamo studied with Fabiano Casanova from the age of 8. He won the Steinway Competition in Verona, the 35th edition of the International Piano Competition “Città di Albenga”, the national piano competition “Marco Bramanti” and took first place in the National Arts Prize at the “Monteverdi” Conservatory in Bolzano, as the best student of the Italian Conservatories in 2022. Despite his young age, he has already played at the Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Konzerthaus Bozen, Teatro Ristori in Verona and at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. As a soloist he has played with the Kyiv Virtuosi Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chioggia Symphony Orchestra, the Bergamo Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as Nataliya Gonchak, Pietro Perini, Stefano Morlotti and Roberto Frattini.
