March 25 is the national day dedicated to Dante Alighieri, the great poet author of the Divine Comedy. The "DanteDì" was established by the Ministry of Culture in 2020, on the occasion of what, according to scholars, would be the date of the beginning of Dante's journey in the Dark Forest.

Saturday 26 March, at 7:30 pm, the Planetarium of the Unione Sarda proposes "Dante's Night", to experience the thrill of Dante's journey, accompanied by the sky told by the great poet. Dante, in fact, proved to be a great connoisseur of astronomy, writing about the celestial vault in the Divine Comedy.Through the reading of some passages and under the stars of the Planetarium, from hell to heaven, passing through purgatory, we will therefore discover the sky of the Divine Comedy.

The event is curated by astrophysicist Barbara Leo, steps and voice by Dario Cosseddu.
