Improve the timeliness of payments in Sardinia.

The Region pays invoices to suppliers 18 days before the deadline , thus guaranteeing liquidity to companies: the indicator (Itp), calculated by the Mef and determined as the difference between the due date of the invoice and the date of payment to the suppliers, went from 11.41 in the two-year period 2019-2020 to 18.39.

A further step forward , with a jump of another 8 days ahead of the expected balance, aimed at supporting the activity of the Sardinian economic fabric.

" Sardinia is confirmed as a virtuous region also on this front , given that since the beginning of the legislature there has been a positive trend in the timing of payments - explains the President of the Region Christian Solinas - It is a reason for satisfaction that the Ministry of Economy highlights this improved efficiency of the regional administration, attesting to an important fact that encourages the activity of businesses which is added to the measures implemented by the region to support the Sardinian economic fabric ”.

“Our primary objective was and remains to pay the PA's debts towards suppliers in the shortest possible time , working the paperwork quickly in such a way as to fulfill the invoices without causing any damage to the companies. On the contrary: helping them in the difficult economic situation that we are still going through due to the aftermath of the crisis - explained the Councilor for planning and budget, Giuseppe Fasolino -. Having liquidity available for suppliers is a decisive factor in business activity and generally contributes to the maintenance and improvement of the health of some key sectors of our economy ".
