From Ermal Meta to Paolo Calabresi, passing through Grazia Di Michele and Debora Villa as guests, to which are added talented writers for an event with an increasingly solid tradition: the literary prize `` Giuseppe Dessì '' is back, to be held in Villacidro from 18 to 25 September. The event, now in its 37th edition and presented this morning in Cagliari at the headquarters of the Sardinia Foundation, is organized by the Giuseppe Dessì Foundation and the Municipality of Villacidro with the patronage of the Regional Council of Sardinia, the Foundation of Sardinia, the regional department of Public Education, the Ministry of Culture and Gal Linas Campidano.

267 works were presented for the literary competition, from which six finalists were selected, three of which for the Narrative section and three for Poetry. The finalists of the Narrative are Paolo Colagrande, Raffaele Nigro and Fabio Stassi while for the poetry Silvia Bre, Valerio Magrelli and Mary Babrbara Tolusso. Six different literary realities of which the winners will be known on Saturday 24 September at the end of the proclamation ceremony.

“Supporting this award is a fundamental task for us that fills us with pride”, the words of Graziano Milia, president of the Foundation of Sardinia. “I saw the award being born, which is a source of pride for the community of Villacidro and for the whole island ''.
