Francesca Reggiani arrives on the island for two dates of the new show "Gatta Morta", written together with Valter Lupo, who also signs the direction, and Gianluca Giugliarelli, on the bill tonight, Saturday 11 March, at the "Tonio Dei" Theater in Lanusei and tomorrow at the "Antonio Garau" Theater in Oristano, again at 9 pm, for the Great Prose season organized by the CeDAC / Multidisciplinary Circuit of Live Performance in Sardinia chaired by Antonio Cabiddu.

Given the many requests from the various theaters on the island, Francesca Reggiani will return to San Gavino and Sinnai in April.

A tragicomic fresco of the Belpaese in the name of irony, between the acute and witty arrows of satire and the interesting and precious insights into the present, in particular on the role and condition of women, on differences and discrimination and on the advantages men enjoy the inexorable passage of time.

In the spotlight is the brilliant Roman actress, an icon of female comedy, a chameleon-like imitator, capable of ranging from theater to cabaret , from cinema to television, who offers a gallery of "her" most famous and successful characters, alongside new emblematic figures such as Concita De Gregorio, journalist and writer, as well as appreciated commentator, and the premier Giorgia Meloni.

Among the "guests" also the psychiatrist Vittorino Andreoli, as no one better than a student of the mind could understand and explain the complexity of human nature at the beginning of the third millennium.

On the limelight of "Gatta Morta", a pièce eagerly awaited by the public and desired by the artistic director Valeria Ciabattoni, which alludes to a particular category of "femmes fatales", skilled mystifiers and manipulators, through which the Roman artist tries to tell the quicksand of our time , the uncertain boundary between true and false, feelings and resentments, even the stars of the "media circus" in a captivating story for paintings, between associations of ideas and thoughts and words in freedom.

"Gatta Morta" is a crackling one-woman-show, enriched by authentic cameos and entr'actes, where the theater intertwines with new technologies and the potential of virtual reality, to narrate contemporary society through the disenchanted and impertinent gaze of a multifaceted artist like Francesca Reggiani, known and loved by the general public since the success of "La TV delle bambini", then followed by "Avanzi" and "Tunnel", without forgetting Monica, the hairdresser of "Dear master", Ketty, bewildered flower child and Cesca, the social worker of “Disokkupati”.

And again "La posta del cuore" by Sabina Guzzanti and Carlo Freccero and "Convenscion" with "her" priceless Sabrina Ferilli and Donatella Versace, "The Scafroglia case" and the "Cocktail of love" hosted by Amanda Lear, "Speak con me" by Serena Dandini, "The Show Must Go Off" and "Girls' TV - Gli Stati Generali 1988-2018", while the successful imitations continue, from Sophia Loren to Patty Pravo, up to Federica Sciarelli and Carla Bruni.

An intense career in which the numerous television appearances, as well as various forays onto the big screen, from "Interview" by Federico Fellini to "The reasons for the lobster" by Sabina Guzzanti, passing through the comedies of Carlo Vanzina and Christian De Sica, alternate shows such as "It's not Francesca", "Shake up before use", "Strati d'animo", "Points of view", "Patty and all the others", "Fifty shades of Francesca Reggiani" and "All that that women (don't) say": Francesca Reggiani favors the formula of entertainment, light with panache, alternating, even in "Gatta Morta", dazzling monologues and cynical considerations, ferocious jokes and bittersweet stories, mixing current events and customs, information and politics, for a three hundred and sixty-degree overview where the artist raises the curtain on a diary of daily follies.
