Last night the curtain fell on the forty-year edition of one of the most important festivals in Italy, La Notte dei Poeti, an itinerary between great prose and brilliant personalities of the Italian theater set in a dream setting, the Roman theater of Nora, which acted as a natural backdrop to a record-breaking billboard that has put together, thanks to the inventiveness of the artistic director Valeria Ciabattoni, the best of the national production of this 2022 in the name of recovery and hope.

Cedac, with the patron Antonio Cabiddu in the lead, has selected over fifteen major projects to satisfy the demanding public of enthusiasts who have repaid the organization with an enthusiasm beyond all expectations.

Same stage tonight for the premiere of Nora Jazz, the festival dedicated to international sounds that this year will play for women.

To open the four days under the stars of Santa Margherita di Pula, the festival has chosen Sona Jobarteh 's blend of traditional, blues and afropop music who will start her concert at 9.30 pm,

Among the most original African musicians of recent years, Sona Jobarteh is a very sensitive interpreter of the kora, the twenty-one-stringed African harp widespread in Central-West African countries.

He studied cello, harp and piano at the Royal College of Music and collaborated as a singer, guitarist and interpreter of the kora with important international artists, carving out a personal space characterized by a real artistic experimentation.

Famous for her instrumental skills, distinguished voice and grace on stage, Sona quickly achieved international success following the release of her acclaimed album "Fasiya" (Heritage) in 2011. The latest album, "Gambia", dedicated to his beloved homeland, it continues in the eclectic and decidedly original evolution of his style.
