The Home Run Challenge is underway between Nuoro and Tonara

The Home Run Challenge organized by Nuoro Softball, Cubasard and Centro Servizi Sardegna is underway between Nuoro and Tonara.
The participants. In the competition 21 softball players from Italy, Spain, Serbia, Bulgaria, Russia, Holland, Switzerland and the USA, who will compete in a sort of duathlon that will test their skills.
The start. We will start with the race, with the athletes who will be timed over the distance of 80 meters. The ranking, however, may be upset during phase two, in which the participants will have ten jokes, five of which valid for the final ranking. To encourage the show, there will be "soft" throws, which will be carried out by the coach of the Italian softball team Julio La Rosa. The Olympian Fabrizia Marrone and Melany Sheldon were also present.
The qualifications. The sports part, which today sees the athletes involved in the qualifications, tomorrow includes the second round (9.30-11) and the finals (15-17), with the children competing, however, in the morning from 11 to 13. Sunday, however, spotlight on Tonara, where the awards ceremony (9.30-10) and the workshop (10-13) on the effects of sports tourism on the economic development of the area will take place.
