The Cagliari puff pastry pizza has been recognized by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies as PAT - Traditional Agri-food Product and therefore included in the appropriate national register.

All this, explains Alessandro Sorgia, councilor for productive activities and tourism of the Municipality of Cagliari, "thanks to the stubbornness of Annalisa Saddi of the historic Mariuccia pastry shop born in Pirri in 1937, who presented the application for recognition to MIPAAF after a long work of recovery of the relative documentation, with the collaboration of the municipal administration and the technical support of the Laore Sardegna agency ".

The important recognition, he concludes, "contributes to promoting our Cagliari in Italy and abroad as well as possible from a tourist point of view".
