The Barumini Foundation presents the 21st Federculture Report: An opportunity to showcase Sardinia's investment in culture.

“ For us it will be a moment of great value: bringing the Barumini experience to the Federculture event means contributing to a profound reflection on the future of culture .” With these words, President Emanuele Lilliu looks ahead to Monday, when the Fondazione Barumini Sistema Cultura will take part, on December 15th (10:30 a.m.), in the Sardinian leg of the 21st Federculture – Impresa Cultura Annual Report , scheduled to take place in the Conference Room of the Fondazione di Sardegna.
The event, which arrives on the island following the national presentation, will offer an updated snapshot of the Italian cultural sector, with particular attention to cultural tourism, the key theme of the 2025 edition. Flavia Camaleonte of the Federculture Research Office, who also authored the previously unpublished appendix with up-to-date data that will accompany the volume, will illustrate the contents and scenarios.
In addition to the Barumini Foundation , the Mont'e Prama Foundation , the regional councilor for culture, Ilaria Portas , and the president of ANCI Sardinia, Daniela Falconi , will also participate. Speaking alongside Lilliu will be José Moica , national vice president of Culturmedia Legacoop, while the director of Federculture, Francesco Spano, will close the meeting.
For the Barumini Foundation, custodian of the UNESCO Su Nuraxi site and driving force behind numerous cultural promotion projects, the event will also be an opportunity to renew its collaboration with Federculture . " With Federculture ," Lilliu emphasizes, " we are in complete harmony on many aspects, starting with one fundamental concept: culture is a strategic investment, not an afterthought. Sharing visions and best practices means contributing to the growth of Sardinia and, at the same time, becoming part of a national network that promotes territories and communities, " Lilliu concludes. " After all, it is precisely thanks to this networked vision that the Barumini Foundation was founded in 2006, thanks to Federculture and its project to promote and manage the cultural sites of Barumini ."
Monday's meeting therefore marks another step in the construction of an increasingly structured regional cultural system.
