The screenings of the 19th edition of "The actor's suitcase" , scheduled from 26 to 30 July on the island of La Maddalena , have been unveiled: the success of the year "Il muto di Gallura" and the latest work by Pierfrancesco Diliberto are on the bill , aka Pif, “And we like assholes stood and watched” .

But to open the event on Tuesday 26 July at the Fortezza I Colmi , starting at 9 pm, it will be the exclusive interview with Gian Maria Volonté , to whom the festival directed by his daughter Giovanni Gravina Volonté is named. An exceptional document taken from "Rosi about Eboli", a documentary directed by Swedish directors Björn Blixt and Peter Englesson and shot during the filming of "Christ stopped at Eboli" (1979), the famous film directed by Francesco Rosi, of which year marks the centenary of his birth; the complete work will be offered on the morning of 28 at the ex Magazzini Ilva in Cala Gavetta.

Following on the opening night, “Ennio” , a tribute work by Giuseppe Tornatore to the two-time Oscar winner and friend Ennio Morricone.

On Wednesday 27 the curtain of I Colmi will rise on the homage to Francesco Origo taken from “Sipario sul mare” (2015), directed by Francesco Piras; below “Il muto di Gallura”, introduced by the actors Andrea Arcangeli, Fiorenzo Mattu and Andrea Nicolò Staffa, who on Friday 29 July will be the protagonists, together with the director Matteo Fresi, of the morning meeting in Cala Gavetta.

Thursday 28 July will instead be the turn of "I cieli di Alice" (2020), directed by Chloé Mazlo, with Alba Rohrwacher: before the screening, the actress will collect the Gian Maria Volonté award, which this year has another winner in Renato Carpentieri, who will conduct the ValigiaLab 2022 in Caprera from 1st to 8th August.

So Pif on Friday 29 July with "And we like assholes remained to watch" (2021), which accompanies and in which he directed himself, Fabio De Luigi and Ilenia Pastorelli, and Saturday 30, after the presentation of the students of the ValigiaLab , Carpentieri will receive "his" Volonté Award; the screening of “Una storia senza nome” (2018) will follow, in which the great actor and director from Campania plays alongside Micaela Ramazzotti and Alessandro Gassmann under the direction of Roberto Andò.
