Shoulder injury for Filippo Tortu. The Olympic champion of Sardinian origin underwent an MRI scan this morning at the Columbus clinic in Milan, after suffering pain in Grosseto, following a fall due to the "excessive" exultation for the achievement, by the blue 4x100 relay of which he took part, of the minimum participation in the World Cup in Hungary .

Accompanied by his trusted orthopedist Marco Bigoni, the athlete was followed by Professor Genovese. The MRI showed a dislocation of the right shoulder, the extent of which should not compromise Filippo's participation in the next World Cup in Budapest.

Having consulted the federal doctor Dino Petrucci and the personal doctor of the athlete Marco Bigoni, it was therefore decided that Tortu should observe three days of absolute rest and then proceed to a subsequent re-evaluation of the situation in view of a possible participation in the Absolute Italian Championships next weekend.
