After 12 years of music, friendship and success, Nicola Nite, historical frontman of Tazenda, has announced his retirement from the band. A painful and thoughtful decision, as the artist himself explains, which marks a significant turning point for the group and for the fans.

"I have to step down as frontman. Consciously and reluctantly, I am forced to make this choice that I never, and I repeat never, thought I would have to make . There is no fracture, no internal conflict: the problem is me," said Nicola Nite in an official statement. The artist explained how the last two years of touring have been particularly difficult for him, describing a "strange, profound, discouraging and unjustified" effort .

Despite the sadness for this decision, Gigi Camedda and Gino Marielli, historical members of the band, wanted to reiterate their support for Nicola, underlining the importance of his contribution in the history of Tazenda. « Friendship tightens our hearts in sadness, but we are aware of the responsibility towards our history and fans . Tazenda will continue their journey, with courage and a pinch of madness, faithful to their stylistic code and their mission to represent Sardinia through music».
