Superbonus, green light in the Senate: the DL passes to the Chamber
The modified text obtains (with confidence) 101 votes in favour. Ok also to the postponement of the sugar tax

The Senate approved the confidence requested by the Government on the Superbonus Decree in the text modified by the Finance Committee, thus giving the green light to the provision.
The vote received 101 votes in favour, 64 against and no abstentions.
The legislative decree, which must be converted into law by May 28, passes to the Chamber for consideration.
The main measures aim at tightening building bonus credits. Direction strengthened by a Government amendment that led to fibrillations in the majority, with Forza Italia fighting a battle on retroactivity in the Finance Committee, leading to abstention.
In the end the text was approved by the Commission and confirmed by the Chamber.
The only significant change came on the launch of the sugar tax : it will start from 1 July 2025 instead of 2024.
