Jannik Sinner will not participate in the Italian tennis internationals scheduled for the next few days in Rome.
The Italian, number 2 in the world, will have to observe a period of rest as a result of the hip problem which has already led him to withdraw from the last tournament in Madrid.
"I'm very sad that I didn't recover , but I'll still come to Rome for a few days," the champion wrote on Instagram after the cancellation. Adding. «Now I will work with my team and doctors to be ready for Roland Garros».
And again, Sinner continued: «It is not easy to write this message but after speaking again with the doctors and specialists about my hip problems I have to announce that unfortunately I will not be able to play in Rome. Thank you for your messages of support which I appreciate very much! See you soon, come on."
