Jannik Sinner gives an encore in Sofia and wins the ATP 250 tournament in the Bulgarian capital for the second year in a row.

The South Tyrolean tennis player in the final defeated Frenchman Gael Monfils in two comfortable sets with a score of 6-3, 6-4 in an hour and 19 minutes.

A break in the second game decided the first set, a break in the first game decided the second, with the blue player who has always kept his batting rounds, during which he conceded only two consecutive break points canceled with four points in a row.

Sinner, who had achieved his first career success in Sofia a year ago, thus conquers his fourth trophy on the circuit.

And he earns 250 ATP points which give him some more hope to participate in the Finals in Turin, in which the best eight players of 2021 will compete. At the Finals there will almost certainly be Berrettini, only math is missing. Sinner is fighting with Ruud, Hurkacz and Auger Aliassime for the last two places available (or three, in case someone else were to give up besides Nadal, who has already forfeited).
