For the third year in a row, Jannik Sinner – who will make his debut at the Cincinnati Masters 1000 against Daniel Galán tonight around 10 pm Italian time – has chosen the "China Open", the ATP 500 tournament played on the Beijing hard courts at the same time as the "500" in Tokyo.

This year's tournament is scheduled from Thursday, September 25th to Wednesday, October 1st . The announcement came from the organizers, who posted a video of Sinner on social media confirming his participation in the Chinese tournament: in Beijing, the South Tyrolean tennis player has a record of 9 wins and 1 defeat.

Sinner won the 2023 edition by beating Daniil Medvedev in the final with two tie-breaks , while he lost last year's final against Carlos Alcaraz, losing in the tie-break of the deciding set.
