The parish church of Santa Barbara in Sinnai will host the last concert, before the summer break, of the Coro Collegium Karalitanum directed by Giorgio Sanna . The appointment is for Saturday 28 June at 8:30 pm, with the patronage of the Municipality.
On this occasion, songs such as "Non potho reposare", "Deus ti salvet Maria", "Ninna Nanna de Anton'Istene", "La Ninna de lu pupu bellu", "Tre rosas de oru" and many others will be performed, providing a soundtrack to the naves of the beautiful Sinnai church.
In this event the Collegium Karalitanum will also perform the very famous “Ninna Nanna campidanese” by the great Sardinian composer Franco Oppo . There will also be an excursion outside the project of some pieces by international composers such as Esenvalds, Miskinis and Sant-Saens.
In the first phase of its concert season, the Coro Collegium Karalitanum presented a project of songs for the valorization of the language and music of Sardinia that saw the light in Barcelona with a memorable concert in the Sagrada Familia, with the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute in Spain. The Coro Collegium Karalitanum, with its 51 years of interrupted activity, is the oldest choir in activity in Cagliari. A point of reference at regional, national and international level.
