It is not a "technical point", but a "serious political act" .

Alessandra Todde is taking issue with the Single Sector Law, which is being challenged by the Meloni Government : a decision by the national executive that "strikes a reform of justice, equity, and autonomy unanimously approved by the Regional Council."

Following the statements of councilors Spanedda and Motzo , and the positions taken by several representatives of the Sardinian M5S, the president also intervened, defining the government's action as "an attack on autonomy, workers and Sardinian citizens" .

"After nearly twenty years," Todde emphasizes, "Sardinia has finally overcome the inequalities among public sector workers, recognizing equal rights, dignity, and protection for those who ensure the daily functioning of municipalities, local authorities, and essential services . A reform built with balance, responsibility, and respect for public work. The government today says no to all this. And it does so by once again calling into question our autonomy , slowing down a long-awaited, necessary, and just reform, and directly impacting Sardinian workers and citizens."

A government that "continues to obstruct reforms that serve the regions," attacks the president, who raises the challenge and promises to fight. "Sardinia will not accept that the government is blocking decisions democratically agreed upon by its Regional Council. We will defend this law in every forum , because it does not defend an abstract principle, but the concrete rights of people and the autonomy of our Region."
