«Unacceptable words, uttered by those who submit themselves to the judgment of the voters to administer Sardinia. And above all unacceptable for the shameful use of the woman's body as an electoral commodity."
Thus Paolo Truzzu, candidate for the presidency of the Region for the centre-right, criticizes the aspiring regional councilor of the DC for Rotondi Gallura, Pietro Pinna, author of a series of sexist audios, sent on WhatsApp, where he says he holds political meetings in which brings scantily clad women with him to attract attention.
«In this field I consider myself above all suspicion», continues Truzzu, «having a splendid family made up of three women (wife and two daughters) and having an exceptional woman as party leader, as well as having presented a team of candidates of quality that supports me in this electoral competition."
The FdI candidate continues, with a jab at his opponent Alessandra Todde, who accused him of remaining silent: «I decisively distance myself from this unspeakable behavior and I am sure that the Sardinians will be able to distinguish personal responsibility from ridiculous exploitation, these are an insult to the intelligence of the voters."
