The main match of the second day in Group B is the one that will be played on Sunday at 20:45 between Pescara and Torres. Both won in the first round: 2-1 for the Abruzzesi on the pitch of Ternana, recently relegated from Serie B, and 3-0 at the "Vanni Sanna" of Torres against Vis Pesaro. Both have ambitions of promotion.

Pescara has maintained a fairly young average age but with several talented players such as goalkeeper Plizzari, Estonian Tunjov and twenty-year-old Dagasso, who are looked after by captain Brosco. On the last day of the transfer market they signed midfielder Valzania, a player who comes from many years in Serie B and also played in Serie A with Cesena, Atalanta and Frosinone.

Torres has on the bench the two new signings Mercadante (defender) and Casini (midfielders) and among the starters returns the right winger Zecca who has served the suspension. Zecca scored a brace in the last championship when the rossoblù won 4-1 in Sassari, while in the first leg it was a 2-1 victory.
