The first defeat of the championship came in the eighth round, against Arezzo who deservedly conquered the “Vanni Sanna” by 2.0 with a brace in the first half by Ogunseye. The Tuscans dominated the game both tactically and in terms of speed of thought and action, with Greco's rossoblù appearing strangely slow.
Torres has possession from the start, but the pace of the shot in the 8th minute is Arezzo's with Chierico: powerful from outside the area, blocked with the chest by Zaccagno. And it is the Tuscans who unlock the match in the 10th minute with Ogunseye who, on a cross from Gaddini, frees himself from the defenders and heads in from a few meters away. Great restart by Arezzo in the 33rd minute with a central pass to Pattarello who sprints, goes to the left and tries to corner, but does not surprise Zaccagno. The Tuscans are dangerous again in the 35th minute with Gaddini who from the edge fires a shot under the crossbar: the home goalkeeper puts it in the corner. Antonelli, on his return, is in difficulty and before the break Greco calls him back to the bench, bringing on Fabriani who goes to the right and Dametto in the center.
Torres is slow and not very aggressive, Arezzo doubles: in the 45th minute Renzi goes away on the right and crosses in the middle: Ogunseye concludes from the center and a player's deflection deceives Zaccagno.
In the second half, Liviero and Varela come in and immediately advance from the center to the right with a dangerous cross. In the 80th minute, a free kick from Fischnaller aimed at the left "seven", but the goalkeeper flies and gets there . Torres pushes but towards the end a short back pass from Fabriani forces Zaccagno to come out of the area and bring down the launched Pattarello. Red card. The match ends with Zambataro as goalkeeper because there are no more substitutions.
