Cagliari's 2024-25 Serie A championship begins with two matches in a row at the Domus, and ends with a fiery away match . On the first day, scheduled for the weekend of August 18, the rossoblù face Roma. In the second they host newly promoted Como . The third day (which is also that of the first big matches such as Juve-Roma, Inter-Atalanta and Lazio-Milan) is the first away match for the Sardinians, in Lecce . On the last day, on the weekend of May 25th, we go to Maradona against Napoli .

The calendar of the top Italian championship has been revealed. This year too, the calendar will be asymmetrical between the home and return legs, there will be no winter breaks and Serie A will only be interrupted for national team matches (8 September, 13 October, 17 November, 23 March) . During the Christmas period, the games will be played on the weekends of December 22nd, December 29th and January 5th.

Only one midweek shift is scheduled, on 30 October 2024 .

This is the list of matches on the first day: Genoa-Inter, Milan-Turin, Juventus-Como; Bologna-Udinese, Cagliari-Rome, Empoli-Monza, Verona-Naples, Lazio-Venice, Lecce-Atalanta, Parma-Fiorentina.

These instead are those of the last one: Atalanta-Parma, Bologna-Genoa, Como-Inter, Empoli-Verona, Lazio-Lecce, Milan-Monza, Naples-Cagliari, Turin-Rome, Udinese-Fiorentina, Venice-Juventus.

CAGLIARI MATCHES

First round

We start, as mentioned, with Cagliari-Rome, Cagliari-Como and Lecce-Cagliari. After the first break, on the fourth day, the rossoblù host Antonio Conte's Napoli. In the fifth there is the Milan derby and there is Cagliari-Empoli, four matches out of the first five at home for the Sardinians. Then two away games in a row: in the sixth they go to Parma, in the seventh they go to Turin against Juventus. And then again: Cagliari-Turin, Udinese-Cagliari (the ninth matchday, with Inter-Juve), Cagliari-Bologna. In the eleventh there is Lazio-Cagliari, in the twelfth the rossoblù host Milan. In the thirteenth there is Genoa-Cagliari (it is the day of Milan-Juve and Naples-Rome).

Cagliari-Verona in the fourteenth round, then we go to Florence and in the sixteenth round we host Atalanta at the Domus. During Christmas, on the weekend of December 22nd, we go to Venice, a week later there is Cagliari-Inter. And in the weekend before the Epiphany the first round ends with Monza-Cagliari and the Capital derby.

Return round

In the first return match there is Milan-Cagliari, then Cagliari-Lecce, Turin-Cagliari, Cagliari-Lazio (on the day of the second Madonnina derby), Cagliari-Parma.

A fiery triptych between the end of February and the beginning of March: on the 25th the rossoblù go to challenge Atalanta in Bergamo, on the 26th they host Juventus at the Domus, on the 27th away to Bologna. Then Cagliari-Genoa, Roma-Cagliari, Cagliari-Monza, Empoli-Cagliari, Inter-Cagliari in the 32nd.

There is Cagliari-Fiorentina in 33rd, then Verona-Cagliari and Cagliari-Udinese. In the last three days of the championship we have Como-Cagliari, Cagliari-Venice and, finally, a close call at Maradona against Napoli on the weekend of May 25th.
