The sixth edition of the Sa Segada Strawberry Festival is underway , after two years of stoppage due to the pandemic. There is really great enthusiasm among the members of the Sa Segada-Tanca Farrà township committee who have worked hard to guarantee, on May 8th, a day entirely dedicated to the delicious red fruit.
A special Sunday, to be spent among the stalls of the producers and the exhibitions of Sardinian quality food, with many playful events, with sport, games and socializing. There will also be a gathering of the splendid Fiat 500s, organized by the local Club.
Today the press conference in the room of Porta Terra, in Alghero , with the mayor Mario Conoci, the councilors for Economic Development and Public Works, the president of the Alghero Foundation and, above all, the protagonists of the event. There were Antonio Zidda, president of the township committee of Sa Segada-Tanca Farrà, Dolores Salis, organizer of the special double fashion show "Nature and Creativity" (with the collaboration of the Liceo Artistico) and Gavino Zirattu, president of Anbi Sardegna, l association that represents and protects the Reclamation Consortia and that announced the important meeting scheduled for Sunday, at 11, entitled "Climate change - The water factor".
A moment of in-depth analysis on the new challenges, of the Consortia and of the companies together, on the evolution and adaptation of cultivation systems in quality agricultural productions.
