Gianluca Scamacca leaves Sassuolo and moves to England to play for West Ham .

The first to break the news of the agreement between the Italian striker and the English club was the BBC.

The deal was closed for 3 0.5 million pounds (just under 36 million euros) .

Still to be agreed, however, the amount of the engagement and duration of the contract of the Roman player, 23 years.

Scamacca was the second-best Italian scorer in Serie A last season with 16 goals in 36 games and last September made his debut in the senior national team.

He is not the first Italian to arrive at West Ham. Before him, Di Canio, Di Michele, Diamanti, Nocerino, the former Cagliari striker Borriello, Ogbonna and Simone Zaza also wore the shirt of the London club.
