Sassari, Gianna Nannini is the star of the New Year's Concert
The Sienese artist celebrates 50 years of career and will be the protagonist in the Turritan city on December 31st

Sassari "You are in the soul": this is how Mayor Giuseppe Mascia launched the news on his Facebook profile that Gianna Nannini will be the star of the city's New Year's Eve. The reference is to one of the hits of the Sienese singer-songwriter, who this year celebrated her 70th birthday and above all her half century of artistic activity.
The first true Italian female rocker, Gianna Nannini had been on the island two years ago for the Alghero summer, while in Castelsardo she had gathered thousands and thousands of spectators for New Year's Eve 2019. She is an artist who, due to her long career, is followed by at least three generations.
The new council is focusing a lot on celebrations to welcome the new year, so much so that it has brought the budget up to 600 thousand euros: 350 thousand from the Municipality and 250 thousand from the Region.
