The images come from Xiapu County, in the province of Fujian: they were released by the tourist communication channel of the territory of the People's Republic of China where a delegation from Palazzo Bacaredda and the rossoblù club went on a visit to sign a letter of intent preparatory to a future friendship pact with Cagliari.

There is the institutional part, also with the involvement of the very young footballers in a meeting under the red and blue flag . But there are also moments of leisure and cordiality, in the name of discovering local traditions.

Zedda holds the pasta-making tool. And he makes those present, who host him, smile by simulating great effort.

The initiative extended to the institutions takes inspiration from a sporting collaboration already started by Cagliari Calcio with the Chinese County of Xiapu, which has developed a vast training program dedicated to young people and Chinese coaches, with the aim of promoting the growth of football in the Xiapu area and encouraging cooperation between the two territories through economic, commercial and tourist exchanges.

In 2024, interactions with Cagliari Calcio intensified, with the football training program that sees the staff of the Sardinian Serie A club working side by side with local instructors in the Xiapu schools, illustrating training methodologies and plans to promote the technical and physical growth of local young people.
