Mayor Massimo Zedda has issued an ordinance that establishes, starting tomorrow , on the occasion of the rossoblù's Serie A debut against Roma, a ban on the sale of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in glass or can containers for takeaway in the areas near the Unipol Domus .
The order is valid for Serie A matches, Coppa Italia matches and all friendlies that will be played in the stadium. It will start two hours before the start of the matches (tomorrow from 18:45 therefore) and will continue for the two hours after the final whistle . In the event of violation, sanctions ranging from a minimum of 25 to a maximum of 500 euros are foreseen.
Here are the details of the provisions contained in the ordinance.
- Absolute ban on the sale for takeaway of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages contained in glass containers or cans.
- The ban is adopted for all commercial operators and all public establishments operating, even on the street, in the following areas near the Unipol Domus stadium: Via Pessagno, from the junction with Via Campioni d'Italia to Via Caboto; Viale San Bartolomeo from Via Campioni d'Italia to Via Salvatore Ferrara; Via Salvatore Ferrara from the roundabout of Via San Bartolomeo up to the height of the bridge on Via Caboto and in the territory circumscribed by them; "Cuore" parking area and in the streets surrounding it; Area included within the perimeter identified by Via Vespucci, Via San Bartolomeo (section of Via Vespucci/Via S. Ferrara), Via Ferrara (section of Via S. Ferrara/entry into the old S. Elia stadium ring).
