Homophobic attack in Cagliari , in Piazza del Carmine.

Victim was a 27-year-old boy from Cagliari who was in the company of some friends.

On the evening of April 6, the young man was wounded in the face with a knife by a 31-year-old Tunisian, a convicted and homeless man.

The boy had already met the Tunisian himself in Piazza Matteotti two hours earlier, on that occasion he had threatened him with death with the glass shards of a bottle but the 27-year-old managed to escape.

Then, when in the company of some friends he was in Piazza del Carmine, he crossed paths with him again and he managed to stab him in the face, wounding him .

The investigators of the Mobile Police Squad have identified the Tunisian as the perpetrator of the violent attack which, according to the various testimonies collected, was triggered by homophobia . The 31-year-old was denounced in a state of freedom.
