A new march to defend the right to health, the 12th in the space of a year in Mandrolisai. Today two delegations of citizens and administrators from Tiana and Austis arrived in Teti.

The march, promoted as always by the "Sos salute Barbagia Mandrolisai" committee, reached the main square of the small town around noon and was covered with billboards.

The protesters are asking for medical officers, pediatricians and medical guards, but above all for a functioning territorial hospital since the wards at San Camillo di Sorgono have been dismantled or weakened.

Also present were the extraordinary commissioner of the Province of Nuoro Costantino Tidu, the mayor of the capital of Barbagia Andrea Soddu and the leader of the Lega in the Regional Council Pierluigi Saiu.

"The bipolarity with the resources destined to Cagliari and Sassari must end - said Bachis Cadau of the Sos Salute Barbagia Mandorlisai Committee -, the center of Sardinia has the right to health care like the more populated and less disadvantaged territories than ours. It is now that with the Region we find a meeting point for our needs ".

"We are looking for solutions to the problem first of all to rebalance the distribution of doctors with a provision of 13 million additional resources - said councilor Saiu -. There will be incentives for trainees who will go to the various hospitals in Sardinia but also incentives for doctors. who will go to fill positions in disadvantaged areas. The dismantling of the Ats then allows, will allow each ASL to find solutions: the Asl of Nuoro has already sought and found 13 specialists ".

"It is not possible to proceed with an ablation of the center of Sardinia, cradle of the language of the traditions of knowledge. Here we want to live despite the geographical difficulties, the mountains and the hills, and we have the right to have the services: health, transport and education. he can open a hospital to which he can give 60 million public euros in Olbia and close ours. The services must be there: just copy from Trentino Alto Adige, Austria and Switzerland ", said the mayor of Nuoro Soddu.
