The works for the construction of the three Health Centers of Sorgono, Aritzo and Ottana have been delivered, with the aim of strengthening proximity medicine between Barbagia-Mandrolisai and Nuorese.
The Roman company Consorzio Codex, represented on the island by surveyor Francesco Pruneddu, won the contract to build the structures, part of the Asl 3 path in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The director of the works, architect Valter Macchi, also signed.
Also present in Ottana were the mayor, Franco Saba, and the coordinator of safety in construction sites, architect Sabina Brinati.
For the strategic management of ASL 3, this is the "closing of the circle" of the activity carried out so far between building investments and projects already underway (such as the Snai network with the Gennargentu-Mandrolisai Mountain Community).
General Manager Paolo Cannas is satisfied and relaunches: «Despite some difficulties, the delivery of the works represents the beginning of a turning point for the territory. The Community Houses of Aritzo and Sorgono, including the Community Hospital at San Camillo, aims to be a broader response to the health needs of our population. The same goes for the structure that will be built in Ottana, to serve a territory that includes centers distributed between Nuorese and Barbagia».
For Cannas, the three structures are a tool to "associate the health response to more complex needs. A center", concludes the DG, "that wants to make the culture of prevention a point of reference for citizens. A health citadel, which accompanies citizens in all the services that contribute to treatment and maintaining health, without having to shuttle between various facilities".
