Extraordinary maintenance work has begun on the bridge that connects Banari with Siligo, which collapsed following the bad weather that hit the area in recent days. With this intervention, transit on an alternating one-way lane will be temporarily allowed, pending the definitive construction which will bring about the restoration of the ordinary road network.
An intervention that satisfied the two municipal administrations led by Francesco Basciu and Giovanni Porcheddu.
«We thank the Extraordinary Administrator of the province of Sassari, the manager of the sector in charge of the road system for the attention shown in these two weeks of isolation of our community. Thanks to all the people and institutions who took an interest. We have used all the means at our disposal to create attention on our specific case, involving the competent institutions. In the next few days, having evaluated the real conditions of the structure, we will know more about the timing ", reads a joint note.
