Woman attacked and injured by a pit bull in the Simbirizzi area, her two dogs killed

Moments of great fear last night for a 50 -year-old from Maracalagonis attacked by a pit bull in the Simbirizzi area on the border between the municipal territories of Maracalagonis and Quartu Sant'Elena .
The victim was rescued and accompanied to the hospital with a 118 ambulance, serious injuries were found in her right arm.
The pit bull first attacked and killed the two dogs that the woman kept on a leash during a walk. When the attack broke out, he screamed in all his desperation, attracting the attention of a man who immediately intervened. The pitubull had already moved away.
He was mobilized on 118, then transported to Brotzu where the fracture and laceration of his right arm were found: he will heal in thirty days.
The carabinieri of Quartu and Maracalagonis arrived on the spot and started the investigation. A herd of strays would be present in the area: investigations are also underway in this context by the military.
