Wind power, Pratobello law presented: «It will serve to block the disfigurement»
The assembly in Orgosolo: «Effective constraints are needed against installations»Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Pratobello's law is written. And the mayor of Orgosolo Pasquale Mereu presented the proposal for a popular initiative yesterday , in the council chamber of the Barbagia town.
Now committees across the island are working to define operational details, modifications and additions. The objective is to set a series of constraints on maxi shovels and photovoltaic fields arriving on our lands and off our seas.
Then there is the square. The people of Saccargia are ready to mobilize against wind power once again, in force: in 389 (Nuoro-Lanusei) or in 131 Dcn, a large demonstration will take place by the end of July. It cannot be ruled out, however, that the chosen location could be Pratobello itself, a place with a high symbolic meaning due to the events of 1969: that time the State was forced to retreat in the face of the non-violent opposition of the Orgolese population against the construction of a military range. Now it is hoped to send signals of discontent to Rome against an unprecedented assault, destined to leave only enormous eco-monsters on the island.
«Tell us what our maximum requirement is», it was noted in the Barbagia debate, «because 6.2 Gw is not the maximum ceiling, but a starting point projected upwards». In short, to summarize it with the words and concepts of the independence leader Pier Franco Devias, «an operation is underway to equalize the quotas of clean energy with those of the pollution created by the factories of the North, but destroying our territory: we will prevent it with all our strength, because we are not the carpetbagger of Italian industry."
The solution therefore passes through urban planning. And Sardinia must decide: the State must not affect the government of the territory.
