The capacity limits of the Sardinian electricity grid in this case become an obstacle – almost always insurmountable – for those who want to build renewable energy production plants just to get rich, to the detriment of the landscape.

Last July in Sestu, in front of the notary, the community that brings together the Sardinian agri-food market and the La Corte del Sole shopping center was born.

No land consumption (with wind towers and panels on fields dedicated to agriculture), the recipe is another : «The energy will be produced mainly with photovoltaic systems installed on the roofs of warehouses and existing buildings », says Claudio Atzori, regional president of Legacoop, of which he is also national vice president.
