A case a day. West Nile virus continues unabated : the infection report doesn't bode well, and if this trend continues, even Oristano's hospital risks collapse.

In less than a month, 20 people have been diagnosed with West Nile Fever, and almost all have been hospitalized in already overstretched wards. Some patients have even been transferred to facilities outside the province to try to ease the strain on San Martino.

The situation is currently under control, but the virus, transmitted by mosquitoes, remains highly alert.
