Yet another water crisis in Sassari makes the mayor Giuseppe Mascia rise up and, with a statement, addresses Abbanoa . "I ask the institution - states the mayor - to pay the right attention to the needs and requirements of the population in a concrete way and to provide the tanker service with drinking water: an act owed to citizens".
This morning Mascia went to via Kennedy for an inspection where Abbanoa operators are working to replace part of the pipeline . The Latte Dolce neighborhood has been more clearly affected by the emergency of the last few days which has been added to the already serious one that arose last Friday with the "explosion" of a pipe in Viale Porto Torres. «A situation that is certainly partly unpredictable, but which I will no longer tolerate if support is not immediately given to the population with tankers and clear, timely and constantly updated communication."
And although the legislation provides that the water service management body must supply the tankers 24 hours after the outage begins, the mayor states that «people's needs cannot be linked to these formal aspects. As mayor I publicly ask that Abbanoa go beyond what has been done to date and be close to the population in a tangible way."
