There were two injuries in a collision between two cars that occurred early Sunday morning on the roundabout at the entrance to a shopping center in the Settimo San Pietro area, along provincial road 15.

They are a 31-year-old woman from Settimo and a 70-year-old man from Cagliari, now hospitalized at Brotzu and Policlinico for injuries reported in various parts of the body.

The collision, which occurred around 7:30 am, was extremely violent: immediate assistance was provided with the arrival of two 118 ambulances, the Carabinieri of the Quartu Radiomobile Unit and the Fire Brigade.

The two are hospitalized for observation but fortunately their conditions are not worrying. The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile of the Quartu Company have carried out the legal surveys to trace any responsibilities. No indiscretions in this regard.

The firefighters removed the damaged vehicles and traffic began to flow normally again.
