Villasor, 44-year-old under house arrest cuts off electronic bracelet: "It bothered me"

The Carabinieri of the Villasor station reported a 44-year-old man, already under house arrest, for having freed himself of his electronic bracelet.
The 44-year-old, known to the police and the recipient of restrictive measures issued by the Court of Cagliari following previous episodes of mistreatment against his ex-partner, a 37-year-old woman, allegedly deliberately cut off the device during the night because - he justified himself - "it bothered me".
However, the damage to the electronic bracelet immediately activated the alarm at the operations centre in Cagliari.
The soldiers therefore arrived at the man's home promptly.
The man was then reported to the judicial authorities again and an increase in the precautionary measure was requested against him.
The investigations of the Villasor Carabinieri continue to evaluate the circumstances of the episode and any further violations committed.
