Villasimius: three quintals of sand, shells and pebbles stolen in a few weeks

Three quintals of sand, shells and pebbles would have been taken away in recent weeks from the beaches of Villasimius .

They were in the bags of tourists blocked and fined at Elmas airport.

Beaches therefore increasingly plundered, but the material recovered will soon return to its place. Environmental guards are also mobilized to try to stem a phenomenon that has been going on for years and that is being tried to stop also with ad hoc awareness campaigns .
