Tax evasion, also to the detriment of 14 workers, in Villamassargia .

As part of the daily activities to combat tax evasion directed by the Provincial Command of the Fiamme Gialle of Cagliari, Iglesias' Company carried out an inspection of a company operating in the construction sector of residential and non-residential buildings.

The inspection activity revealed that the company, in the mandatory accounting records for the 2021 and 2022 tax years, liquidated the withholding taxes for the purposes of IRPEF and TFR made on the paychecks, against salaries actually paid to employees, but failed to pay the withholdings for a total amount of almost 40 thousand euros.

Also damaging the 14 workers, completely unaware of the missed payment. For 9 of them double damage, the withholdings were not paid for two consecutive tax years.

The activities, as the Fiamme Gialle announce, «fall within the scope of the economic-financial police functions of the Guardia di Finanza and are aimed on the one hand at countering the phenomena of worker exploitation and on the other at ensuring the receipt of financial resources necessary to support the public expenditure with which services are provided to the citizen".
