The man is a 26-year-old and was transported to Brotzu Hospital by air ambulance. The Carabinieri and Spresal inspectors are investigating the incident.

The worker who was involved in a work-related accident in the Villacidro industrial area on Friday morning is hospitalized with a critical prognosis.
The victim is a 26-year-old man, an employee of a local company. According to initial reports, he was cleaning a commercial warehouse when he accidentally stepped on a fiberglass panel, which gave way under his weight, causing him to fall approximately seven meters into the air. The impact caused him serious injuries.
After prompt intervention by rescuers, the young man was stabilized and subsequently transferred by air ambulance to Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari, where he was admitted.
Carabinieri officers from the Villacidro station and SPRESAL staff from the competent local health authority also responded to the accident site, and began investigations to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident and verify compliance with workplace safety regulations.
