Villacidro, arson attack on the wind farm site
Unknown persons set fire using plastic bottles with flammable liquid, the Carabinieri are investigating

Arson attack during the night at the Vestas wind farm site in Villacidro .
Unknown individuals started the fire using plastic bottles containing flammable liquid to ignite the protective sheets covering the roots of three blades still resting on the ground awaiting installation.
The fire destroyed the protective sheets, partially involving the blades.
The Carabinieri of the Villacidro company were on site and have started investigations to identify those responsible for the act.
