The first 6 thousand doses of the coronavirus vaccine intended for Sardinian children aged between 5 and 11 will arrive on 15 December. This is confirmed by Massimo Temussi, commissioner of Ares-Ats, who underlines: "It is a matter of a few hundred doses per province to begin with, given that the audience in Sardinia is around 47 thousand, 14 thousand in Cagliari alone".

"Those that will arrive - he adds - are microdoses and we are trying to organize everything in collaboration with pediatricians. We are also organizing the opening of reservations with the Post Office: the start will be soon".

The new Sassari hub, via Rizzeddu, is proceeding at full speed: in just one day it has hit the vaccination record with 1700 doses: "The campaign is going well"; concludes Temussi.
