The coronavirus vaccination campaign continues at full speed in Sardinia and the number of people who undergo the first dose is also increasing.

In the period between January 31 and February 6, 89 thousand were administered, of which 7,350 first doses (more than a thousand a day) and 69 thousand boosters, in addition to boosters.

Overall, since the beginning of the campaign, over 3.5 million doses have been administered: just under 1.4 million the first and about 930 thousand the third.

The island is among the top six regions in Italy for the number of residents who have completed the primary vaccination cycle with a share equal to 82 percent to which is added a further 3.5% of people who have received at least one dose .

While in the pediatric age group from 5 to 11 years, where almost 40% of the audience received the first dose, 20.5% have already completed the entire cycle (the national average is 19.4%).
