With 1,231,490 Sardinians vaccinated with two doses or single doses, the anti Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Sardinia is advancing in small steps. Despite a small group of diehard no vax, little by little the Green pass effect convinced the various doubters to undergo the administration, so much so that in some age groups the percentage of vaccinated with two doses exceeds 90%, the new target set by Commissioner Figliuolo to widen the meshes of the restrictions, in view of the return to normality.
Currently the vaccinated population over 12 reaches almost 83%: there remains an important share - about 20 thousand people - who have not yet undergone the first injection.
In detail, according to the Government report, the over 80 who have completed the vaccination cycle are 110,850 (93.6%), the 70-79 years are 160,008 (91%), the 60-69 years old are 202,554 (87, 9%), while the 50-59 year olds are 226,008 (83.9). Above the 80% threshold also the 20-29 year olds with 117,756 vaccinated (82.3%). Below this threshold, however, the 40-49 age group where 195,359 people (79.1%) are vaccinated with two doses, those between 30 and 39 years (137,534 people, 77.8%) and, finally, 12 -19 years old (81,421, 67.2%).
