The two robbers responsible for the robbery at the Norbello post office have been identified after almost two years. Explosives, weapons and drugs were found during the raid.

Two men from Orotelli, already known to the police, ended up in handcuffs and were placed under arrest by the Judicial Police. The crimes charged are aggravated robbery in competition with the use of weapons and disguises, illegal possession of explosive material, illegal possession and carrying of a clandestine weapon, illegal possession of narcotics for the purpose of transferring to third parties.

After the robbery, which netted a few hundred euros, the two were filmed while they were driving away on board a Ford Focus. The Carabinieri of the RIS of Cagliari found a compatibility between the build of one of the two and that of the criminal filmed after the robbery from the images from the cameras .

Arrests and numerous searches were therefore carried out in buildings and places frequented by the two, which aggravated their position. 41 kilos of cannabis were seized, a rifle with a cancelled serial number, a semi-automatic pistol, cartridges, 800 grams of explosives , quarry premix gelatine. The clothing worn during the robbery was also found and seized.
