New landing of North Africans on the beaches of the south eastern coast of Sardinia. After the boat arrivals in the last few months on the beaches of Villasimius, this afternoon 24 people set foot on the beach of Geremeas: left the boat on the water's edge, some of them headed on the nearby panoramic road towards Cagliari, others remained nearby. of the same beach.

Some citizens and motorists who immediately contacted the carabinieri noticed them: the soldiers of the Sinnai station immediately arrived on the spot with captain Gianni Russo and marshal Maffei who triggered the rescue system.

The foreigners, perhaps Algerians, were then accompanied to the first reception center in Monastir where they will do the swab and quarantine and where they will be identified. A sea voyage that could have started a few days ago.

There had been no landings on the coast for years. Then, in the summer the first landings in Villasimius and now this: the North Africans are all in good condition. Their dream was to land in Sardinia from where they could reach other places in Europe. They received with satisfaction the news of their first move to Monastir.
